Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

2. Submissions

By submitting an item to Pacific Authentication Company LLC ("PAC"), you warrant that you are the lawful owner or have the right to submit it. PAC handles items with the utmost care; however, our liability for loss or damage is strictly limited to the declared value and insurance purchased at checkout.

3. Authentication Opinions

PAC provides a professional authentication opinion based on our proprietary evaluation process, digital forensic analysis, and the proof materials provided. PAC issues Certificates of Authenticity (COA) based solely on this opinion. We provide a professional opinion but do not guarantee underlying authenticity beyond our judgment. In the event an item is deemed inauthentic, PAC is not liable for financial loss.

4. Fees

All authentication fees are due at the time of submission. Return shipping and insurance fees will be calculated based on your declared value and address.

5. Refunds

Authentication fees are strictly non-refundable once the physical item has been received and the forensic review process has begun, regardless of the final opinion rendered.

6. Shipping

You are responsible for safely packaging and shipping the item to our facility. PAC is not liable for damage incurred during transit to our facility.

7. Disputes

In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, PAC reserves the right to suspend or revoke any associated Certificates of Authenticity and hold the physical item until the dispute is resolved.

8. Uploaded Content

By uploading proof photos and videos, you grant PAC a non-exclusive license to securely store, review, and utilize these materials solely for the purpose of authentication and public certificate verification.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PAC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services.
